If you liked the old PSP 2000 and you found it quite ok, I think there will be no reason why you shouldn’t like Sony’s new PSP 3000 upgrade. The main difference between the two it is that the new PSP 3000 has brighter, increased contrast. PSP 3000 also features a wider color gamut screen, which, in my opinion will make new friends among PSP lovers. As we expected, the interlacing issues have not been completely solved, but I believe it looks better than old PSP 2000.

So would you really want to upgrade your PSP 2000? Not yet I should say, because the interlace is not way better on the…

Researchers from the Johns Hopkins University have designed a self-assembling electronic wire which is destined for the use inside a human body. The organic wire is water-soluble and it’s made of lightweight carbon materials and many wires like these could power pacemakers, stimulate organic function and reconnect damaged nerve tissue.

Although we will not transform ourselves in Borgs or robots, these organic wires will help paralyzed people to restore their nerve fibers thanks to the self-assembly process. These wires are 10,000 times thinner than a human hair and they have the possibility to interact with individual cells from our body, and once the nerve cells are reconnected, paralytics will regain their…

Here is something really interesting, actually I don’t really know how to call this. This is a giant skull made of old kitchen utensils which means that it’s great because it’s great, however, the problem is that it doesn’t have any practical use. I know this is art but it should “do” something, and now that the Frieze Art Fair in London is closed I don’t know what happened to the giant skull.

I will congratulate the Indian designer Subodh Gupta for creating this and I hope that next time he builds something out of recyclable materials, he should craft something usable.

Google Android is the latest mobile operating system and it has made a lot of fuss in the industry, so I felt the need to try it, along with the multitude of applications designed for it. I listed and wrote a short description of those I liked, because what would an operating system be without it’s applications ?

1. GoogHelper

GoogHelper is a software that has a lot of mobile search engines embedded for Mobile, Images, Maps, Stocks, Shop, News, Groups, Gmail, Wiki, Software, Books, eBay, Tags, and Blogs.

The application is very easy to use and it reduces the time required to visit the search engine you need. It loads fast and…

Two guys from a division of Sony/BMG in London, Phil Clandillon and Steve Milbourne, created probably the most innovative music video out there. The special thing about it is that is created in Excel and everyone who has the software installed can view it.

Of course the quality is not high, but this isn’t important, but the unique way it’s created. Take a look and I guanratee you’ll say WOW!

This is one of the most interesting TV sets ever as it’s full-HD LCD TV which displays the highest-resolution of HD, 1920×1080p. I don’t know about you, but I really enjoy the widescreen aspect ratio and all my displays in the house are like this.

With a dynamic screen contrast of 29000:1, a response time of 5 ms, and brightness of 500cd/m2, the Philips 42” 1080p LCD TV is future proof as it can support the latest Blu-ray or HD console sources.

This 42-inch LCD TV developed by Phillips features 4 built-in speakers with a Dolby Digital sound system that outputs 25W RMS. Also the viewing angle of the TV stands at…

This is one of the most interesting and useful concepts ever as it could replace the very expensive 3D screens. What’s the alternative? A double layered transparent LCD screen designed by Mac Funamizu as it “would give a feeling of depth” when overlaying graphics.

We realize that this is only a concept and it may never see the sunlight, however, we cannot think of the multiple devices where the dual-layered transparent LCD screen would be very useful - cellphones, photo frames, uber-futuristic TV sets, interactive maps on GPS receivers or e-book readers among many, many others.

Mac admits that his might be “crazy” and that he’s “not planning to develop the works…

Though we inclined to think that Sony Ericsson Paris will die before even seeing the sunlight, it seems we may have been wrong. Some leaked photos of Sony Ericsson’s smartphone have hit the web recently and made us wonder whether we misjudged Paris’s fate. Anyway the pics of the new Sony Ericsson Paris lack details and the only thing we can say about the smartphone is that it will feature a 2 Mega-pixel camera. As you will see if you will click the link below and pay the guys from Daily Mobile a visit the vast majority of the pics show the Sony Ericsson Paris and its thiny stylus.

Anthony Reed thought the world of cellphones might need to bulr it colors a little, so he decided to design the E ink. E ink is a black and white concept cellphone with a nice design. Personally I find the design of the E ink verry attractive and retro too. So I think the simple lines of Anthony Reed’s concept will attract the ones that are fed up by the nowadays colorful chellphones and want a phone that don’t trespass the gray scale border.
