Kodak Flips-Out With 1080p Pocket Camera

Photography giant Kodak releases its new innovation–the Z18 pocket video camera. This will go head-to-head with Flip’s Ultra HD and in fact, manages to beat it in every way. Kodak’s Z18 can shoot 1080p while the Flip only has the capacity to shoot 720p.

More, this pocket camera has a built-in image stabilization (electronic), a microphone socket and and SD card slot, which can be expanded for up to 32GB (but when bought, it will only come with a 128MB internal memory). It also has Flip’s trademark flip-out USB plug, and has the capacity to shoot five megapixels in still form.

So instead of buying Flip’s Ultra HD, I suggest you take a closer look at Kodak’s pocket camera since it packs considerably more powerful features.

It will be available in September for $180.
