At first, this box looks like a tool box that my uncle would usually use for odd jobs around the house. But take a closer look, and you would see that this is actually a set of speakers.

These two models of speakers, which were housed in an old-ammo case, were both made in 1mm steel-plate, and have a battery statue light inside the bass-tube. One model has glass-fiber speaker cones while the other has Kevlar. Both weighed only seven kilograms or about 15 pounds.

Each day, more and more tablets are being announced (probably to compete with the Apple iPad). Here now is a tablet with a custom user interface.

The EviGroup’s Paddle Tablet Scale has a 10.1-inch multitouch screen, 1.6GHz Atom N270 processor, up to 320GB of storage and it runs on Windows 7 operating system. As you can see in the image, the user interface of this tablet is pretty queasy to the eyes. The icons are layered and placed in such a way that you cannot see them all because of their vectored angles.

I hope user interface means the user or buyer can actually change the interface design.
