This vest is not even leaning towards some forward fashion style but, it sure has something pretty unusual perks. Those who are always on the go would find this very useful. I’m not sure if I want to wear it but I’m almost pretty sure it will come handy for me while I’m on the field.

If ever you get empty battery while you’re on the street or somewhere far from an electric socket, having this vest will be of great use to you. The vest charges your gadgets via the solar cells located at the back. It has four solar panels, all completely waterproof so you don’t have to worry…

With the Sony PSP Go and the Nintendo DSi of the gaming world, who cares about classic game consoles right? But there really is something charming about going back to what we know before: the Thumb Stadium Electronic Game Kit has no LCD screens nor it has complicated navigation buttons and analog joysticks. What it does have though are these four simple and delightful little games:

Game 1 - ThumbWar
The object of ThumbWar is simple: press while the other player is pressing. If you do, you get a point.

Game 2 - SlapJack
During SlapJack, Thumb Stadium randomly flashes the center LED red or green. Be the first to press when…

Months after my kid cousin got hold of his PSP3000 from my uncle (an early birthday treat), the PSP Go is not leaked (purposely or not) for the whole public to ogle at. The PSP Go is significantly smaller than the ordinary Playstation Portalbles released before. The new pics seen here are the official publicity photos for the PSP Go. But although they did not come from the Sony PR themselves, these are pretty reliable as the leak was made after the new console was prematurely spotted in a showing of gadget at the 2009 Qore Video.

Here are the specs of the PSP Go (notice that it’s slimmer than the…

The surge to prominence of the Wiimote is characterized by EA sports where players go about waving those Wiimotes in the air catching the imaginary balls off a game of tennis.

The new Type Pad Pro attaches to the Nyko Wand (it cannot be attached to the Wiimote directly because it is semi-incompatible and it lacks Nyko’s propriety Trans-Port Technology). It then transforms an ordinary Nintendo controller into a spaceship-like full QWERTY keyboard. Through the trans-port communication, the A and B buttons on the want would be located at the Type Pad Pro while the pad itself is connected to the Wii through a wireless USB cable.

I know it’s quite confusing…

Gamers and geeks, step aside. It’s Mom’s turn to jump on the gaming bandwagon. On Monday, Nintendo announced a new DS Lite bundle, clearly tailored to the interests of middle-aged women.

At the usual $149.99, the bundle includes a lime green console, a matching carrying case, and Personal Trainer: Cooking. Those who tend to buy into gender stereotypes can already preorder the bundle just in time for Mother’s Day on Amazon. Don’t forget to add on My Weight Loss Coach and Imagine: Babyz while you’re at it.

In the past couple of years we’ve seen a Nintendogs bundle for kids, a Brain Age bundle for the old timers, and other age-specific packages…

It’s finally here on the shores of the U.S. and Canada, folks: The Nintendo DSi is the next step in the evolution of the Game Boy,  being the next installment in the line mega-popular dual-screen WiFi handheld console systems cooked up by the progenitors of everything excellent, Nintendo.

The Nintendo DSi was first released in Japan on November 1, 2008 and made its first debut in Europe and Australia at the beginning of the month. Essentially, the DSi is just like the DS Lite, except that it’s got slightly larger screens – each coming in at 3.25 inches instead of the familiar 3 inches – and has slightly better speakers. In…

Spotted over in Tokyo this week is a nifty little fixture for the iPhone that gives the handheld a classic Gameboy fashion overhaul. Snapping together around the iPhone, the casing resembles a totally kick-butt, original portable LCD gaming system, that particular one after which all other systems are in a some way modeled, named, molded; and, to which every emerging palm-sized gaming technology hearkens and every self-respecting self-identifying gamer pays gut-busting homage: The Nintendo Game Boy.

Here’s a little history blast for you: The Game Boy is an 8-bit handheld video game system that first saw the light of day in Japan in April 1989. Later that year, screaming fans in…

Just crossing our radar screens is an interesting little add-on device for the Nintendo DS that aims to prevent avid gamers from overindulging in their favorite pastime. The Health Control Game Timer integrates a timer system with a proximity sensor in order to make sure that gamers are spending an appropriate amount of time with their handheld and to ensure that those gamers are maintaining a safe face-to-screen distance at all times.

Now, any gamer in a frenzy could simply tear the little thing from the DS and hurl it across the room, but at milder emotional levels, the Health Control Game Timer might just come in handy for gamers whose…

Revealed earlier this week at the Game Developer’s Conference in San Francisco, a start-up named OnLive plans a paradigm-shifting video game distribution system that could alter the way gamers play their games forever.

The system isn’t due for launch for several months, but it’s already got gamers excited and the console businesses worrying over their current business models. OnLine was started by Steve Perlman, the founder of WebTV, along with Mike McGarvey, the former CEO of Eidos. It’s essentially a system that will digitally distribute top titles from major publishers like Atari, Take-Two, EA, Ubisoft and many others at the same time as those games are distributed via the traditional retail…
