In a nutshell, the Viewsonic VTablet 101 has fairly decent specifications and features, albeit it will come out at the worst timing you can possibly imagine for a tablet since Apple is slated to release their very own this week too.

There are two new models of the Sony Vaio Z series. These models will come out with Quad SSD drives, Intel Core i7-620M processors and NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M chips.

The new models— the Vaio VPCZ11Z9E and Vaio VPCZ11X9E—would have a 13.1-inch LED backlit display screen, an optical Blu-ray drive and an HDMI port. These laptop models will only weigh less than 1.45 kilograms since they are going to be made from carbon fibre and aluminum.

And because of the new Quad SSD drives, you can write data in parallel on up to four SSDs at 6.2 times faster than the usual speed.

HP has finally stopped releasing new netbooks and instead came out with a new line of notebooks with ranges of 12 inches to 17 inches of display screens.

The new notebooks—the 12-inch tm2, 15.6-inch dv6t and 17.3-inch dv7t—have been added to the slew of new models that the HP family recently released.

The tm2 has a capacitive multi-touch screen, SU7300 1.3GHz ULV processor, 3GB of DDR3 RAM, optional ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4550 card or SU9600 processor. On the other hand, the 15.6-inch dv6t has a 2.4GHz Core i5-520M processor, 3GB RAM and 320GB HDD. HP, however, has not released the specifications on the dv7t.

Two companies, MSI and Novell, teamed up to come out with this U135 netbook that will be powered with the new SUSE Mobile. This is especially designed for the consumer and the enterprise since you will enjoy an Internet experience with integrated e-mail, multimedia and Web browsing capabilities.

The MSI U135 will have a 1.66GHz Intel Atom Pine Trail processor, memory of up to 2GB and 250GB hard drive with 5400rpm.
