Nokia is trying to get its piece of the Chinese market with its new offering for China’s TD-SCDMA—the country’s domestic 3G standard. The Nokia 6788 is collaboration from the Finnish company and the world’s largest mobile phone operator, China Mobile.
The Nokia 6788 has all TD-SCDMA solutions that are catered to the needs of Chinese consumers. It got an all-in-one capability including speedy mobile Internet speeds and download times, 5 megapixel camera with dual LED flash, a 2.8?QVGA display and the Symbian S60 platform.
The Symbian platform has also served Nokia in other developing countries especially in Asia.
The exterior of this clamshell-designed mobile phone is inspired by Chinese design elements. It has traditional Chinese patterns on the back of the slide and battery cover.
Nokia, however, still has not announced the pricing for this mobile phone although it is due to come out this Christmas season.
