Nokia N96

Nokia is one of the biggest cellphone manufacturers in the world and the Finnish company was very successful with the N Series where I would mention the N70, N80 and, of course, the N95. As the latter was a big success, Nokia decided to release the N95 8GB which was dubbed as one of the most complete cellphones available on the market.

Well, if you didn’t know by now, Nokia will release the N96 on October 1st hoping that it will have the same impact on the public as the N95. Although is not as cool as a iPhone 3G or is not powered by Google’s Android as the HTC Dream, I think people will like it.

The Nokia N96 will feature 2.8-inch QVGA LCD TFT display with 16 million colors and a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, 16GB internal flash memory expandable up to 24GB, a 5-megapixel camera, 128MB RAM and 256MB system memory and as always will be based on Symbian OS 9.3 version.

As far as I know, the 3G connectivity will work great and the cellphone features a 3.5mm headphone jack, unlike the iPhone 3G and respectively, HTC Dream. Let’s wait for October 1st when the Nokia N96 will be available for a price of €550 before taxes and subsidies.
