Another shocking report from the Xinhua News Agency, the official press agency of the People’s Republic of China, ran a story of a UFO sighted by government officials, a bunch of journalists, and a handful of assorted other passengers on a flight in February of this year.

Passengers saw the phenomenon from the plane’s window while cruising on a Southern Airlines flight – the 6 pm to Nanjing, to be exact. Whilst socializing and relaxing during the trip, a group of journalists were amazed to see a baffling luminous object keeping pace with the plane just outside the window after one of the group made the sighting. A group of security officials on the plane were alerted, and one of the journalists even took a few pictures before the thing headed off in a north-easterly direction after being visible for approximately one minute.

Most passengers on the flight concluded that they had witnessed a genuine UFO. Minutes later, they sighted another object on the horizon, but it turned out just to be another airplane; the passengers agreed that the new sighting was much different in nature from the mysterious sighting of the minutes just prior.
