Research in Motion has just announced their latest version of touchscreen phone—the Storm 2. This latest handset from Blackberry has better display and wireless connectivity. The first version of this model was launched in November last year, and sold over a million pieces in two months.
The Storm 2 boasts two of its best features: the faster and smoother-typing touchscreen and the built-in fast WiFi connectivity. But other than that, this smartphone has the same features as its predecessor—a 3.5-inch LCG screen, 3.2-megapixel camera without flash, 256MB of flash memory card, and a 1400mAh battery.
This smartphone can last for roughly 500 to 600 minutes of call time.
Unfortunately, Research In Motion still has not announced the release date for this Blackberry Storm 2, or even its pricing, so you might have to check back here again for more details on its availability.
All I can say for now is that this will partner with Verizon, and you will have to pay a monthly fee under $200 with a two-year contract.
