The CrunchPad Web Tablet will soon be available in July or August of this year, according to a recent report. Developed by Mike Arrington, the CrunchPad Web Tablet already has several prototypes in, and would be in the market as soon as possible.
With his 15-man team from Fusion Garage, Arrington is said to have been developing the Web Tablet for two-thirds of the last six months. This Atom-powered touchscreen Crunchpad is purely for Internet-browsing purposes. It boots directly into the WebKit browser. There’s no hard drive or keyboard, although you can plug a keyboard in as an option. It has support for Flash, too.
Arrington said that “most people will find it works as good as a netbook or better” with its 12-inch display screen.
It will not compete with Apple’s mythical tablet. Even its cost will not be anywhere near the Apple’s price. The CrunchPad Web Tablet will retail for $300 or less when it comes out.

Cool Welcome to the Feature….
Okay, all we need now is a web based cbr viewer.
Wonder if there’s one out there already?
