Garmin Oregon 450t and 450 touchscreen unveiled

For most people who always get lost on the road, these new GPS devices from Garmin might come in handy at some point. The Oregon 450T and 450 both has compatibility with Garmin Connect—the company’s online community.

Both of these models have touchscreen capacity that will enable you to navigate through a glove-friendly interface. Also, this portable GPS device will not be easily destroyed by external factors since its touchscreen display was built to be resistant to nature.

The Oregon 450T and 450 have a 3-inch touchscreen display that has “user-selectable dashboards, enhanced track navigation and high-speed USB,” which will make it faster to transfer maps to and from your computer. It also has photo navigation capability and the 3-axis tilt-compensated electronic compass.

These devices are powered by two AA batteries for up to 16 hours. They have a high-sensitivity GPS receiver with HotFix, which can automatically calculate and store satellite information. Both the Oregon 450T and 450 also includes an 850MB internal memory and a microSD slot.
