The LaCie Rugged USB 3.0 External HDD has a lifevest-like design with its bright color orange. Majority of the hard drive’s design has a raft-esque style while the LaCie logo is placed exactly on the middle of the device. This design can resist drops up to 2.2 meters, and it even throws SuperSpeed USB to its features.

The 500GB (7200 RPM) model will be available in May for about $150.
