Yesterday we presented you some photos of the Palm Treo Pro, but we didn’t know for sure if those were real or fake. Now, we know - the Palm Treo Pro exists and here are some live shots to prove it. We remind you that the Treo Pro will support tri-band 3G connectivity and quad-band GSM.

The Palm Treo Pro will be a little wider and taller, but thinner than the Centro. The smartphone will feature a 320 x 320 touchscreen, a 2-megapixel camera, 256MB ROM and 128MB RAM with 32GB microSD expansion slot, 1500mAh battery, microUSB connector and GPS.

It appears that the Treo Pro is based on a 400MHz CPU and Windows Mobile (unfortunately), and as you see the QWERTY keyboard is there too. For the moment there are no words on pricing or availability.

Unfortunately it will be based on Windows Mobile? Are you kidding? Palm software is such an unstable and outdated platform, even Palm recognized this and introduced Windows Mobile phones that actually don’t freeze up every day. They should be applauded for not adding that train wreck to their new phone.
Windows Mobile? Ewwww…
