The cyber age has brought as a lot to thank about—communicating and transacting business, for example, became so much easier. But along with the benefits we gained from it, being technologically modern and advance has also brought people confirmed fears on the security of their personal lives and, well, files.
The Mandylion Password Manager—a device used by the US Military for the past couple of years—is a convenient and cost-effective gadget that helps secure and generate passwords. It has been tested for three years in real warfare environment, and is now available for commercial use. The Mandylion Password Manager is created to look like a small keyring device, which can store up to 50 logins, safe combinations and security codes.
You can store passwords up to 14 character in length and can create passwords based on your settings (length, alpha-numeric, special characters). It will also prompt you to change passwords at preset time intervals (90 days, one year, etc). Its memory will permanently store all data as it is not affected by battery life or power loss.
Using The Mandylion Password Manager is very easy. There are five buttons for navigation and data entry. It is then activated by a unique button sequence, which is user-defined. There’s also a self-destruct option for emergencies and a setting that displays “tampered” when an attempt has been made to hack your device.
