There is no word in the English dictionary that describes my love for TiVo. And although some people complain that it basically proves nothing now with the proliferation of other media devices, I say take a good long look at this new TiVo Premiere.
This device is a new, high-definition series four box that is probably the smallest TiVo player out in the market today. It can shift to live programming like any other DVR but it also access the Internet to display movies and television shows. It can access Blockbuster, Netflix, Amazon and YouTube video podcasts. You can also stream music from Rhapsody and listen live to radio on Live 365.
The TiVo Premiere is a one-stop media player that will able you to access numerous media content with the TiVo features you learned to adore in the past. It also has the Swivel Search feature that has been extended to search the Internet for various contents like your favorite actor. It can then stream the content straight to your television sets.
The two models, however, that will be released has no WiFi features. You will have to buy an 802.11b/g USB dongle for $40 to make use of WiFi.
There will be two series 4 models for the TiVo Premiere. The 320GB Premiere will retail for $300 while the 1TB Premiere will sell for $500. The $500 TiVo Premiere will come with a THX-certification and a backlit remote.

im new to tivo, but i pre-ordered the premiere at Tivo Premiere
i was a little concerned about the memory, but 45 hours of HD should translate to at least double regular definition, right?
