
The recent release of Red’s accessories for its digital and motion cameras have got us on a twist. And now, the company is again teasing us with this $28,000 DSMC that has got no release date on it. What a bummer.
The high-end Epic-X, which will be released in for stages, begins with a pre-production model dubbed as TATTOO. It ends with the wide-spread final release model.
The Epic-X has a new MYSTERIUM-x 5K sensor, 1080p at 1-60fps, increased dynamic range, reduced noise, time lapse, frame ramping and a new FLUT color science.
It also has these following specifications:

- Independent Stills and Motion Modes (both record full resolution REDCODE RAW)
