Dell has just unveiled its new competitor for the Macbook Air. After a much anticipated makeover, the Dell Adamo XPS is back; only now, it has a thinner and lighter body.
Dell Adamo XPS has a 13.4-inch high-definition display, Intel Core 2 Duo (1.4GHz) processor and 4GB memory card. It will run on the new Windows 7 operating system. Dell Adamo XPS, which claims to be the thinnest laptop in the market, is only 0.4 inches thick and also has a full-sized keyboard. For those of you who don’t know, the Adamo’s predecessor is 0.65 inches thick.
The first Adamo laptop was launched in March for $2,000 to $2,700. But the new Dell XPS has redefined itself by making it more attractive and less expensive.
The Dell Adamo XPS will retail for $1,800. And although it costs cheaper than the $1,500 Macbook Air, Dell hopes that the sleek design of the new Adamo will push its patrons to purchase it.
