Dell unveils Studio 14z for students

A healthy balance of work and play—that is what the Dell 14z is all about. Perfect for students and young urban professionals, the manufacturers at Dell made this little baby with as much functionality as it has style.

The Dell 14z is boasting of its NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics processor (offering enough graphics power to load a couple of games and handle high-definition video when you want to take a break from work or school). According to the folks at Dell, the GeForce 9400M in the 14z can deliver up to five times faster graphics performance compared to the Centrino 2 notebooks. Also, the inclusion of vReveal brings ability to the 14z to fix grainy and shaky videos with just some simple click of the mouse.

The price of the Dell 14z will depend on the kinds of specification you will require it to have, but it starts retailing at $649 up (take note of the “up”) making it “the most affordable GeForce 9400M GPU-based notebook in North America.” What makes the price even unbelievably cheap is that the Dell 14z packs a high-definition Blu-ray drive (optional), and with HDMI output.

It also comes in different exciting colors: so far, they have red, yellow, black, pink, blue and violet. So start saving one now and pick your thing.
