3D Hologram

Everybody loves holograms. Don’t know why, but I’m ecstatic everytime I see this in whatever movie I’m watching. In the next few years, we could have hologram in our homes thanks to a breakthrough in 3D technology of scientists from the University of Arizona.

According to the researchers, their device is the first updatable 3D display with memory, a technique that is required to get holographic images to move, and now, this breakthrough leads to displays that could be erased and then rewritten in just a few minutes.

The University of Arizona scientists are claiming that this technology will enter on the market in five to ten years. Although they managed to build such displays, the problem is that the refresh is slower than of a conventional 2D TV set. However, the researchers feel that they will solve this issue with ease so let’s wait and see what more they have prepared for us.
