It’s still summer and the perfect way too cool down and to enjoy a nice day is to go swimming at the seaside. I like to swim and I always wanted to do acrobatics in the water and to swim very fast. The problem is that you can’t do that (I’m not Michael Phelps!). Well, these thing might be history thanks to the Lunocet monofin.

As specialists estimated, Michael Phelps swims at 5mph, but with the Lunocet you can beat him and swim at 8mph. The gear is made of silicon covered in carbon fiber and titanium, however, it only weighs 2.5lbs and the best thing is that you can do acrobatics just like a dolphin.

The biggest drawback for this thing is the price as the Lunocet monofin costs between $1250 and $1800 depending on your preferences. Now all you have to do is to sell your car and to live your life in the water.

it is very useful when you meet a shark.
except sharks can swim at 45mph…
Will someone please explain what exactly this thing is? From what I read it somehow helps you swim, but that’s all I got. I can’t even see what it is, the pictures are too dark.
It looks like you put your feet in the middle, and you wear it like two shoes glued together. The wing things on the side probably propel you… somehow. o_O Maybe they spin around or flap up and down or something.
It’s the fanciest set of flippers ever.
It doesn’t seem to be motorized, which pisses me off. For 2000 dollars, I get a thing that helps me swim faster, but requires me to power it?
For that price I would honestly expect more like a James Bond powered swimming thing.
I own a monofin, i wish i could ride this one. For the beauty of the ondulation….
I ordered a lunocet monofin and never received it after multiple promises/excuses from Ted Ciamillo. I ended up having to dispute the charge with my credit card company after a classic “your check is in the mail” final promise that a refund was coming. BTW, the check never arrived but thankfully my credit card company was very supportive of my dispute. Bottomline…. BEWARE!!!!
