Dell’s Mini 5 Tablet Will Get It On With Apple’s iPad

The first time I saw this Mini 5 tablet from Dell, I surely thought it was the Apple’s much-talked-about iPad. But at closer look, you would begin to see the difference, though my confidence on this Dell tablet grew high as I saw the specifications.

This device has a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display, 5-megapixel camera on the back, separate front-facing camera that can be used for video conferencing, standard 3.5mm headphone jack, WiFi connectivity, 3G ability and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz processor.

The Mini 5 will run on Android 2.0 or even higher, and it will support a 16:9 ratio.

Lenovo has just stepped up its ThinkPad X201, which will now come packed with a Core i5 and i7 processors. The good thing though is that this laptop’s slim and sleek body did not change even though the processor has been updated.

Also an upgrade from the ThinkPad X200, this device adds a trackpad where the nub left off. Now, it has a 2-megapixel camera with improved low light performance and it also boots up in mere 20 seconds and shuts down in just five seconds. That’s about 50-percent improvement than other laptops.

Motorola’s Backflip will be the first Android phone to be featured in AT&T. According to the company, it plans to showcase five Android phones this year including some from companies such as HTC, Dell and of course, Motorola.
