The second week of the new year saw a lot happening in the world of entertainment. Brad Pitt made a jaw-dropping appearance at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards. The actor has lost a lot of weight, post his breakup with Angelina Jolie. He’s focusing on himself again, watching what he eats and even has a chef making him healthy meals. The actor is back to healthy eating and is spending considerable time hiking, walking and doing a lot of weight training.

Other news comes from the sets of Quantico, where Priyanka Chopra who stars as Alex Parrish in the FBI drama thriller series, was injured after she fell when performing a stunt. The actress fell so hard on her head that she suffered a concussion. She was immediately rushed to ER, examined, treated and discharged a few hours later. Priyanka Chopra is likely to return to work after the weekend.

Selena Gomez, who had taken a break from social media, has returned with a bang. The 24-year-old singer posed topless in an impromptu shoot with celebrity photographer Mert Alas. Selena stripped down to just a blanket, gold thong and a large hoop earring. Alas posted the pic on Instagram, captioning it as “Beauty and the Beast” but later deleted it. Of late, Selena Gomez has been spotted with Abel Tesfaye sharing a steamy smooch, hugging him, kissing him and being super affectionate with him.

In Korean drama related news, fans went gaga over Song Joong-ki’s Instagram post showing him with military uniform. The post gathered over 150,000 likes and fans began to flood the post with comments about how much they liked the photo. They even requested the Descendants of the Sun star to act in Season 2. It looks like the fans really want SongSong couple to be part of Descendants of the Sun Season 2, although we aren’t sure whether there will be a Season 2 in the first place.

Meanwhile, Song Hye Kyo posted a black-and-white photo on her Instagram account which shows the actress sitting alone and dining. Although the pic received nearly 250,000 likes and over 1,500 comments, fans started speculating that the actress wants to convey the message that she is sad. Several fans were disappointed with the gloomy pic and requested for a colorful photo of the actress. In 2016 KBS Drama Awards-related news, Song Hye Kyo attributed her Grand Prize to her co-star Song Joong-ki. In her tweet, the actress said that she could receive the Grand Award only because of Song Joong-ki and that if not for him, she wouldn’t be delivering the acceptance speech.

In DC Comics universe, Flash Season 3 will see the return of Dark Flash Zoom. Barry’s life will get more complicated as the evil Zoom will return as the Black Flash. In all likelihood, Zoom’s return will have an impact on other storylines in CW superhero series, most notably Arrow. It will be interesting to see how Arrow’s storyline will change. In superhero related news, Thor: Ragnarok story plot has been revealed. Disney has officially released the story plot of the upcoming Thor movie, revealing that the movie will offer glimpses of Planet Hulk saga. Thor : Ragnarok will see Thor imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok, the destruction of his home-world and the end of Asgardian civilization, at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela.
