Eric Schmidt Did Work For Clinton Campaign, Per Email Released By WikiLeaks
Eric Schmidt, the CEO of Google’s parent company, Alphabet, once did work for the Hillary Clinton campaign, according to an email published by WikiLeaks.

Schmidt, who in the past has referred to himself as a “Democratic supporter,” was discussed in an October 2014 memo to Clinton from Teddy Goff, who is now a Clinton campaign digital strategist, the Washington Free Beacon reported.
“I have been kept apprised of the work being done by Eric Schmidt’s group and others working directly and indirectly with your team,” Goff wrote.
He went on to specify the work that was being done by the group, including building the front and backends of the Clinton campaign website.
Goff added that Schmidt and others were working on other projects that, although not “critical for launch … would be extremely useful to have as early in the cycle as possible.”
Goff, who also worked on President Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign, explained that the sorts of projects being undertaken by Schmidt and others were addressing problems that hindered the Obama campaign’s progress four years ago: “Of note, many of the problems that stifled us in 2012 have since been tackled by private companies with whom we have relationships and whose tools we can license rather than attempt to replicate.”
A Google representative did not immediately respond to a request for comment from TheBlaze on Wednesday.
