Developed by the collective known by the moniker KeenLab, the jailbreak also works with iOS 10.3.2, the latest stable build.

The new jailbreak seems to be working fine on most of Apple’s latest handsets. Needless to say, this is a relief for many of us who had lost hope that there would be another functional jailbreak ever again — especially after all those reports that claimed Apple has succeeded in delivering the knockout blow to the jailbreaking community.

Security researcher Min Zheng shared a few rather interesting photographs from the jailbreak demo held on Friday. As you can see in the images below, the demo encompassed three different variants of the iPhone: the iPhone 6 Plus powered by iOS 10.3.2, the iPhone 7 powered by iOS 11 beta, and the iPhone 7 with iOS 10.3.2.

Here, we can clearly see Cydia working just fine on all of the aforementioned devices.

From what we can gather, it appears that KeenLab ran a sideloaded app installed using Cydia Impactor, meaning it could be a semi-untethered jailbreak. Note that iOS 11 comes with a number of features whose origins can be traced back to jailbreak tweaks.

As of now, we have no information regarding a potential timeline within which the jailbreak will be made available to the public. In fact, we don’t even know if KeenLab intends to release the jailbreak to the public.
