Bill O’ Reilly and Jon Stewart dig into each other in a debate for the ages about white privilege in America, and Stewart calls O’Reilly a product of it. The Fox News host and the comedian have torn into one another few times, inviting the other person to come on their show as a guest, and once again things get heated between them.

O’Reilly and Stewart have a history, and we can almost consider them ‘frenemies’, being there relationship is fueled by respect and hatred. Throughout the 12-minute segment on The Daily Show, the two television personalities go back and forth taking hits at each other.

White privilege is the subject of the debate, but it was supposed to be an interview about O’Reilly’s new book, Killing Patton.

Stewart quickly turns the interview into a debate, when he throws the book aside and asks O’Reilly, “This is all I want from you today. This is it… I have one simple question: I want you to admit that there is such a thing as white privilege. That’s all I want you to do … I just want you to say, ‘I’m terribly, terribly wrong on this.”

O’Reilly responds to Stewart with, “In your case, there is white privilege! The fact that you’re here, sitting there. He doesn’t even shave. He doesn’t even — look at you.”

With that, the bell rings for O’Reilly and Stewart to go at each other’s throats, starting the racial debate.

Jon Stewart believes white privilege is still prominent in the US, and O’Reilly is a product of it. They point fingers at each other and throw snide remarks back and forth.

Bill O’Reilly doesn’t acknowledge white privilege, while Stewart tries to make him admit it exists. They discuss Jim Crow laws, the lasting effects of slavery, and Stewart says O’Reilly is famous because he’s white.

O’Reilly responds to Stewart, “You think I’m sitting here because I’m white? What are you, a moron? I’m sitting here because I’m obnoxious, not because I’m white!”
