Mike Davidson, Twitter’s Head Of Design, Is Stepping Down

After three years prime design for the social media giant, Davidson has introduced he’s leaving in February. No word yet on his next steps.

Mike Davidson, Twitter’s vp of design, introduced past this week that he is leaving the corporate after over three years top the design team there.

As head of design on the social media large, Davidson has had a hand in the majority of Twitter’s product launches for the past three years, including its not too long ago added Moments function. Davidson did not reply to requests for remark.

prior to becoming a member of the design group at Twitter, Davidson put in 5 years at NBC news in Seattle. There he ran operations for Newsvine, the group-powered information site NBC bought in 2007. previous to that, he provided art and design route for ESPN.com.

it is uncertain why he’s leaving Twitter or what his subsequent step will likely be, though sources say he is seemingly heading again to Seattle. although his announcement came this week, his actual departure just isn’t except February.
