You thought they were some of the world’s most overrated designs in the field of architecture and urbanism. 1 World Trade Center? Ugh, another boring glass monolith! Pocket-sized homes? Sketch comedy fodder. Urban density? Just another buzzword championed by misguided urban planners who don’t know how cities really work.
