Vodafone has just announced that the iPhone will first be available on July 11th at 00:01, in New Zealand. That’s before the New York and England launch.
O2 has already started taking pre-orders for the UK, limited to one per customer and who comes first, gets it first. The new 3G iPhone will be delivered to your home on Just 11th by courier if you pre-order it. Hopefully, they will replenish their stocks, because it seems O2 already sold all the 16GB versions.

Personally, I really like how iPhones and iPods are looking, but I also agree that you have to “protect” them from scratches or other kinds of damages therefore you have to cover them up in cases. Most of the cases on the market are really ugly, but Fabrix came up with some cool sleeves which fit perfectly the style of Apple’s products. Each of the cases cost $21.90 and according to the manufacturer, they are also perfect for the 3G iPhone.

I guess there is no point in reminding you what’s the 3G iPhone, but I will have to say a few words about Romania. Why Romania? Because Apple and Orange announced that 3G iPhone will be available in Romania later this year. If you didn’t know until now, Romania is situated in the South-East of Central Europe in the Balkan Peninsula and its capital is Bucharest.
Orange has announced that soon they will begin taking pre-orders for the 3G iPhone and I really hope that I will not stand in queue for too long.

After so many rumors, predictions and debates, Apple has released the 3G iPhone. Yeah, you heard this right! It’s here and it comes with new edges, plastic back, iPhone 2.0 firmware and a SIM ejector in the box. According to Apple, the 3G on iPhone is 36% faster than Nokia’s N95 and the Treo 720.
The newly-released 3G iPhone manages 300 hours in standby, up to 10 hours in 2G talk, 5 hours in 3G talk, 7 hours of video and about one day of audio. Apple has provided their “jewel” with A-GPS which is better than regular GPS because it also uses information from cellular towers.
