There is simply no stopping cellphone manufacturers from trying to outdo one another. So days after the leak of the Mako and Slider, the new Sony Ericsson W995a finally made its debut.

The Sony Ericsson W995a has Wi-Fi and A2DP-enabled 3G features with an 8.1-megapixel cellphone camera adept with technological jargons such as geo-tagging capabilities, face detection, flash, autofocus and dedicated buttons. The Sony Ericsson W995a is also a cellphone and walkman in one so, imagine what you can do with this little gadget.

It also has a Media Go support, similar with the Playstation Portable.

The Sony Ericsson W995a comes with Google Maps (though I can never quite orient myself on this)…

Making its global debut over the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona was the SIMSense card, developed by Oberthur technologies. The SIMSense card is the first motion-sensitive SIM card, utilizing accelerometer technology to power motion-sensitive applications on cell phones. Technology speculators are excited for possible uses, but also remain cautious about potentially dangerous accidents that could arise from rigging up a handset to motion activity.

For instance, address books could be sensitive to hand motions, such as shaking, tapping or turning. Two quick shakes, for instance, could place a call to an entry in a customizable list of numbers. More critically, emergency applications could be triggered by sudden motions, such as a…

As you probably heard, Nokia unveiled a new smartphone two weeks ago. Yeah, I’m talking about the E63 and although it’s not as “clever” as the E71, the full-QWERTY keyboard and the Navi-Wheel device is similar to the one found at the N85 which means that it’s better than the navigational device that E71 currently features.

The new E63 smartphone is based on quad-band 3G, GPRS, and EDGE. The connectivity features are completed by Wi-Fi capability as well as A2DP Bluetooth, and the old n’ rusty Infrared. There will be enough space for your important emails and documents on the 110MB of internal memory, but if you are running low in…
