As we have been fervently wishing for some perfect tablet to land on our laps, here’s Dell reminding us that we can settle for its Mini 5 Android Slate for now.

The 5-inch screen that supports multitouch has a custom Android, SIM port (to make calls), WiFi capability and Bluetooth connectivity. Like the iPod Touch, it feels light and more “plastic-y.” But, I daresay it is solid from the look and feel of it. Making a call with Dell’s Mini Slate will make you look like you’re holding a giant mobile phone though, so make sure you use a headset when making calls with this device.

But aside from that tiny malfunction…

The Dell Vostro V13 is rumored to be the thinnest laptop. With only a measurement of 0.65 inch, this makes the Dell Vostro V13 the most portable notebook you can ever imagine.

But the more interesting features that this notebook packs are its 13.3-inch display screen, ultra-low voltage of Core 2 processor, 4GB of DDR3 RAM pre-loaded, Bluetooth connectivity, WiFi connectivity of 802.11g/n and an integrated webcam and microphone.

At a reasonable price of $450, this Dell Vostro V13 is perfect for businessmen, travelers and even students. Rumor is it though that the Australian market will get this for…

Dell’s new Android phone is set to arrive in US shores (via AT&T maybe) in a few weeks, or configurations. But a new leak from Brazil suggests that the Dell Mini 3iX may even have WiFi, camera and an improved interface.

According to Brazilian website, Cellular Café, the “X” version adds WiFi and 3G/HDSPA ((850/1900/2100MHz) connectivity to the mix. If I remember correctly, the Chinese 3i lacks these essential features. The camera, however, remains at three megapixels at a 3.5-inch display screen.

But hey, the new interface is similar to Android’s default and “uncustomized” look and feel. Applications included are the usual contacts, mail, alarm clock, recorder, world clock and Internet browser.

Dell’s Adamo ultraportables will now match the low-end of Apple’s Macbook–the Air. But although the Macbook Air still beats the Adamo in every known technical spec battle out there, Dell cannot (so far) compete with the technical wonder and low price of the Macbook Air.

At entry level, the Adamo has 1.2GHz core 2 duo processor, 2GB of RAM and a 128GB drive. It now costs the same as its Macbook Air counterpart that has 1.86GHz core 2 duo processor but without the 128GB SSD. The Adamo will now retail for $1,500–the same as that of the Macbook Air.

Adamo’s high-end piece will, however, retail for $2,230, still a bit pricier than…

By next week, the Dell Mini Laptop 10 will get full navigation options. I know some people who have just gotten their hands on the Mini 10 will shout foul over this new development.

The full navigation options will include A-GPS + WiFi system, complete with CoPilot navigation software and network location services from SkyHook. This collaboration of Dell with GPS companies is one if their go-getters these days. Although not purely for marketing stuff, I think I can pretty much guarantee that these will be perks that are sure to be enjoyed by some.

Dell is also including the Loki browser plugin for Firefox and IE, which can integrate your Mini…
