Verizon iPhone To Arrive Next Year

Verizon subscribers can now start saving money for next year’s release of the Verizon-based iPhone. Although Verizon has unleashed wrath on the Apple phone, the company is now swallowing whatever’s left of its reputation and banking on releasing its own version of the popular smartphone.

By the third quarter of 2010, Verizon will be delivering the iPhone to its subscribers, a report from OTR Global said. The report says that Apple is now working on a “worldmode”  iPhone compatible with Verizon’s CDMA network.

According to the research firm, Verizon’s iPhone will have a smaller screen—only 2.8 inches. This is significantly smaller than the current iPhone’s 3.5-inch display.

AT&T Brings MMS To iPhones

After a long exhaustive wait, AT&T has finally enabled multimedia messaging service (MMS) for iPhones. In doing so, they have proven the worth of their word when they announced previously that they will be activating MMS “by the end of summer.”

Apparently, AT&T will be sending a text notification to their subscribers, informing them that the MMS function in their iPhones is already activated. But if you haven’t received the text message, here’s how to turn on MMS:

Connect your iPhone to your computer.

Select the iPhone in the left pane.

Click the “Check for Update” button.

TomTom will deliver 3D GPS navigation with a spoken turn-by-turn directions.
