The title of this post may be a little deceiving because to get this Nokia Net Booklet for only $299, you have to sign up for a $60-a-month, two-year contract with AT&T–the laptop’s distributor. If you add the $60 a month, that will amount to $1,750 in two years!

With that price, you can get an even more powerful laptop. But of course, if you believe in both Nokia and AT&T, and is in the lookout for a fast-purchased netbook, then this might just be the one you are looking for.

This Booklet 3G is made of a single piece of aluminum, and measures about a half inch thin and weighs only…

The new HP Envy 15 Beats Edition is similar to the Envy 13 in specs, albeit this one has a black on black matte finish that makes the shiny, metal alloy exterior of the laptop more high-end looking. Although some said that the Envy series of the HP is a take-off from Apple Macbooks, still we can’t deny that this new Envy 15–powered by the HP’s Core i7–can stand also on its own in the high-powered laptops of this generation.

No specific details has been released yet regarding this model, but we can expect it to have atleast a Mobility Radeon HD 4830, an Intel Core Duo 2 L9600 processor running at…

I’m actually tired of hearing different notebook specifications everyday that I was seriously thinking of not posting about the new MSI Wind U210. But my sense of duty got the better of me, and I decided against my better judgment.

The MSI Wind U210 is a 12.1-inch notebook not unlike many of its Wind predecessors. It has a 1.6Ghz AMD Athlon Neo MV-40, 2GB RAM and a 250GB hard drive. You would also be hooked to its 1366 x 768 display screen driven by an ATI Radeon X1250. The notebook has three USB ports, an SD card reader and an HDMI port.

Probably the thing that I don’t like about the MSI…

We have yet to feature the ThinkPad T400s and yet here is another multitouch display screen notebook that is jumping into the bandwagon of Windows 7. But of course until you can get the Fujitsu Lifebook T5010 with a Windows 7 on October 22, you will have to be contented with the Vista for the meantime. Don’t worry though, it will support the same two-finger zoom and pan features.

The Fujitsu Lifebook T5010 can swing both ways–from tablet to notebook, thanks to the industry’s “first bi-directional swivel hinge.” It packs a new optional dual digitizer with two-finger support for zoom, rotate, flick and stylus support for inking, editing and annotating files.

After making phones for the better part the last decade, Nokia unveiled recently its “mini-laptop”–the company’s first foray into netbook-making. Although it refuses to call this new device a netbook, it does have all the features of a netbook and a cellphone.

The Nokia Booklet 3G has a 10.1-inch screen, Atom processor, an HDMI port, webcam, Bluetooth connectivity and an SD card reader. It also has a 3G radio in HDSPA form and a swappable SIM card slot. The Nokia Booklet 3G includes, more specifically, a GPS connectivity (c/o of a WiFi triangulation that can be hooked up to Ovi Maps.

Nokia has yet to release the final details on the Nokia…

Aside from the catchy neon green spill design on the cover of the Nickelodeon-inspired Dell Inspiron Mini, this laptop has features exactly the same as any other Dell Mini netbooks.

The laptop has Nick’s popular Signature Slime that is currently being used in shows like Spongebob and iCarly. The laptop has a 10.1-inch display, 1GB RAM, 160GB hard drive, an external DVD drive and other things that can be added to it. This Dell Inspiron Mini will also have necessary softwares so kids will be safe to use them. Dell doesn’t mention, however, how durable this laptop is–whether it can protect itself from kids dropping them, etc. But I’m guessing Dell…

Maingear is claiming their eX-L 18 to be the fastest laptop in the world. Now, I don’t know if anyone’s going to challenge this claim, especially as laptop brands are sure to go crazy over finding out that someone else beat them in their own turfs. But, if the specs and design is any indication over the truthfulness to this claim, I think it’s safe to say that we got something on our hands.

The Maingear eX-L 18 is an 18.4-inch laptop powered by an Intel Core 2 Extreme quad processor, dual NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280M graphics cards, 8GB RAM, three 2.5-inch SATA or SSD drives (or RAID if you like)…
