Gateway comes out with two new gaming desktop PCs, and considering that they almost have the same specifications, I am guessing more people will opt to buy the $1,300 version rather than the $1,700.

Both desktop PCs run on Core i7-860 processors, and both also have the ATI Radeon HD5850 graphics, 1.5TB SATA hard drive, a DVD drive and Windows 7 Premium operating system. They also have an array of ports, a 7.1 channel audio support and 8GB DDR3 RAM.

For all that features, the FX6831-01 can be purchased for $1,300. But with an additional Blu-ray player drive and 16GB DDR3, you can get the higher-end FX6831-03 for $1,700.

As with pretty much every other sound company out there, the Bose Soundlink will be releasing their first wireless streaming speaker on August 27.

But unlike other wireless speakers in the market, the Bose Soundlink neither used a Bluetooth or WiFi to play their music. Instead, the Bose Soundlink opted for a RF USB dongle to transfer the data from the PC to the speakers.

The Bose Soundlink comes with a 3.5mm auxiliary jack, and has a rechargeable battery that can last up to three hours. Although I am not so sure about how using a USB dongle will affect the sound quality of the speakers, I still believe this $550- Bose…

It’s not often that we see PC mouse that gives enough color or character to our old desktops. Mostly, I’d see people put stickers on their old mice just so it would look cooler than it really is. It wasn’t until this new PC Mouse Ladybird that a look of less monotony of black, white and gray was finally eliminated… or soon to be, at least. It doesn’t even have the cartoon-like quality of other ladybug mouse I’ve seen in other stores. To say the least, this gadget touches the more real look of the ladybug.

Thankfully, it’s an optical mouse. So aside from the basic specs, there’s nothing more I…

For the dorks who like ‘em bigger and bluer, here’s the Lian-Li PC-888, a fantastically oversized PC case that’s ready to hold all sorts of powerful nerdery inside. Word on the grapevine is that the designers intended for this custom chassis to suggest the shape of a sail in order to underscore its moving-air cooling system. That’s fine, given that the thing’s so big, it probably experiences some kind of a wind tunnel effect in there.

The Lian-Li PC-888 can store 11 5.25” drives, and each one can handle a removable dust filter. Ostensibly the design implies a server or hard-drive cabinet, but we bet that some homebody’s gonna rig one…

I never thought I will see something like this too soon. The new Tesla from Nividia is the world first Teraflop many-core processor. With no more than 240 cores per processor Tesla is the most accurate and the quickest pc from the market. The supercomputer, because the name of computer is no match for him is based on the revolutionary CUDA architecture and can be bought at a price of almost 10 000 $. But this is not something for the ordinary users. Don’t even think to buy it, even if you are some gadget freak. Probably you won’t use all its power in some decades from now on.

Still it can be used…

Remember how everyone tells you that your PC, Mac or laptop is not environmentally-friendly? Well, this thing could change thanks to the LawnPC. This could become the PC of the future as it’s solar-powered and wireless. The LawnPC was designed by David Veldkamp with greenness and efficiency in his mind, however, the design is also futuristic as this is what designers should do first - to develop something that people would like.

The LawnPC gets is power via solar cells which are integrated in the green grass on top of the PC. How it’s this possible? Well, those are blades made of natural biodegradable cotton with embedded inkjet printed solar cells…
