Bing has sent marketers a notice that it will “clean up” legacy content ads that were created before July 31, along with a series of dates, as a result of closing down its Content Network. The ads group stopped serving ads in the content network on June 30.

After November 30, Bing will automatically migrate ads to the search network when the distribution default is set to both search and content network.

The ad groups that have ad distribution set exclusively to the content network will be deleted. The ads in these ad groups have not been serving in the content network since June 30, 2017.

Marketers will no longer have an option to create or update match-type content and set content bids in the ad group setting. Keywords with the match type of content will be deleted.

Bing Ads announced in May 2017 that it would close its Content Network as a result of low-quality traffic. On July 31, Bing stopped running Content Network ads and eliminated the ability to create new content ads.
