Dallas Cowboys to use VR to coach QBs

StriVR Labs, founded through a former Stanford college kicker, will help train quarterbacks the use of a virtual fact headset.

The Dallas Cowboys have signed a two-12 months deal with StriVR Labs, a digital truth startup founded with the aid of former Stanford university kicker Derek Belch, Re/code studies, citing a person accustomed to the deal.

The virtual fact training tech is already used by soccer groups at Stanford and Dartmouth university, among just a few others. Cowboys quarterbacks will put on a VR headset to observe replays of maneuvers, viewed from the quarterback’s viewpoint. while the expertise is not interactive, Re/code says, the players can flip their heads to look in several instructions each and every time they view the replay. The purpose is to assist gamers boost determination-making talents without needing the entire crew to be available for practice on the field.
