Ex-Reddit figure Victoria Taylor Joins WeWork

Victoria Taylor, the loved Reddit AMA liaison whose dismissal final month ignited a full-blown public relations challenge and incensed the carrier’s vociferous user base, has moved on to a brand new job.

In a publish on (where else?) Reddit, she introduced that she is becoming a member of WeWork, a community of coworking areas, as its inaugural digital neighborhood director:

starting this week, i will be joining WeWork as their first-ever director of digital community. if you’re not conversant in WeWork (and also you hopefully can be quickly!) they provide workspace, group, and services in 16 cities world wide. again when we had been based in WeWork, our neighbors ranged from fashion designers to beverage delivery startups, travel businesses to film subscription services and products. WeWork is aiming to beef up a world group of creators through constructing expertise that connects these people all over the world. And my purpose might be to assist enhance the culture of their online platform.

Taylor also notes that Reddit’s new york workplace has been based out of a WeWork place in SoHo for years, even previous to her stint at the company. the gap served as a venue for many AMAs, the place Taylor incessantly acquired celebrities and other excessive-profile figures.
