Google is using Facebook to target Los Angeles locals to tell them about Google @ WeHo, a pop-up retail store where consumers can test drive the company’s computers, phones, Google Home devices and more, all made by Google.

The goal is to lead LA locals to Google’s pop-up store. The 4,550-square-foot West Hollywood pop-up officially opened October 19, and will remain open until December 31, 2017.

The Facebook posts also provide a map with directions.

The Melrose location sports an immersive Pixel photo studio and places to explore virtual reality and the the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL phones, along with Google Home, both Mini and Max.

There is also a location in New York on Fifth Avenue in the Flatiron district, which is called Google @ Flatiron.

Unlike like temporary retail stores set up last year, consumers will have an option to buy products rather than having to order them online and have them shipped to the home.

Google’s fledgling hardware business continues to grow. Parent company Alphabet recently reported generating $27.8 billion in revenue in third-quarter 2017, up 24% from the same quarter last year. About $24.1 billion of the revenue came from Google’s ad sales, the majority from search.

The majority of the remainder of Alphabet’s revenue — about $3.4 billion — came from other streams or revenue at Google such as hardware sales, cloud services, and sales of subscription services such as YouTube TV and Google Play music.
