NBCUniversal Invests $200m In BuzzFeed

NBCUniversal has made a $200 million fairness funding in BuzzFeed, the companies announced on Tuesday. “We stay up for participating on tv content material, motion pictures, the Olympics, and joint partnerships with ad agencies and brands,” mentioned BuzzFeed government chairman Kenneth Lerer in a statement.

The deal increases BuzzFeed‘s valuation to $1.5 billion, Re/code stories. BuzzFeed attracts about 200 million visitors to its web page per 30 days, and its videos receive about 1.5 billion month-to-month views.
