Pokémon Sun and Moon

First off, the Legendaries. Solgaleo, the mascot of Pokémon Sun, is surprisingly not a Fire-type Pokémon, but a Psychic/Steel one. His ability is “Full Metal Body” and we can see him completely resist a Salamence’s attempt to intimidate him and reduce his stats. Lunala is a Psychic/Ghost Pokémon with the ability Shadow Shield and can unleash a powerful “Moongeist Beam”.

Next up, we see the Alola Region, complete with its many islands, as leaked by Amazon. We don’t get much of a glimpse at it, but it sure does look pretty. You can also customise your trainer’s appearance now (even if its only a few race-based presets), and then we get to meet the resident professor, Kukui, who is likely the trainer’s cousin, if the previous trailer is to be believed. There’s also Lillie, Kukui’s mysterious assistant and Hau, your friend in Alola.

Finally, we see that there’s now your Pokédex is apparently a Rotom in one of his forms. Pokémon Sun and Moon will release on November 18th, 2016. Keep checking back to make sure you don’t miss anything related to the games as we’ll be covering them throughout the year. Let us know what you think about the trailer in the comments below.
