HBO units Season 2 of Comedy sequence ‘Doll & Em’

HBO has picked up the 2d season of “Doll & Em,” the femme chum comedy starring Emily Mortimer and Dolly Wells.

The BSkyB manufacturing revolves around a Hollywood actress who hires her perfect good friend as a private assistant. in the 2nd season, the two make a decision to write down an Off Broadway play about themselves, luring Evan Rachel timber and Olivia Wilde for the lead roles. Ewan McGregor and Mikhail Baryshnikov are also set as guest stars.

The six-episode order for season two is in manufacturing in ny. “Doll & Em” will bow on BSkyB’s Sky dwelling channel and air on HBO someday subsequent year.

Mortimer and Wells are again writing the episodes, with Azazel Jacobs directing. Alessandro Nivola with Kevin Comer produce for Nivola and Mortimer’s King Bee label. Andrew Eaton and Sky’s Lucy Lumsden are exec producers.
