Mobile apps world is growing and according to latest infographic by GO Globe, the estimated number of available apps in Android is 1.31 Million followed by iOS 1.20 Million and Windows 0.40 Million. 14.7% of mobile apps are from Game category followed by Entertainment (7.74%), Lifestyle (7.74%), Education (7.32%), Business( 6.24%) and Books(5.74%). 83.82% of apps in Android store and 67.2% of iOS apps are completely free.
In terms of rating 41.18% of android apps and 53.61% of iPhone apps have no rating at all and only 0.72% of total apps have more than 1 million downloads. Games is the most downloaded apps category accounting for 33% of total downloads.
