Snapchat CEO wants To Make It easier For “brands To Be brands,” may supply Self-Serve advertisements

In an interview at the Code conference, Evan Spiegel says Snapchat has nearly 100 million day-to-day energetic customers.

Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel is no fan of brands. as a minimum not on Snapchat. He will get annoyed when he sees companies pretending to be human on the well-liked messaging app. He doesn’t follow them.

“Philosophically, it can be crucial that Snapchat is [a platform] constructed for people and now not for manufacturers,” said Spiegel, right through an interview Tuesday on stage at the Code convention in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.

That’s no longer so much of a welcome mat, or position-setting at the table, for manufacturers who’ve been using Snapchat — or bearing in mind the usage of it — to reach out to Snapchat’s massive and young target market. As our Danny Sullivan stated:
