Baseus, a well-known consumer electronic brand headquartered in China that makes everything from chargers, hubs, and protectors to IOT and gaming devices, small household appliances, and cables, is using Kickstarter to launch its latest product.
I was fortunate enough to get a pair of these Tag earbuds, early, from the manufacturer to try out and review for ReadWrite. Here are my thoughts on these new earphones.

Being able to recover a lost item is a standout feature because earbuds seem to be constantly misplaced due to their diminutive size. You can even track each earbud separately.
As soon as the earbuds become disconnected, the app goes to work to pinpoint where they are and navigate you to them for recovery. It gives you a buzzing sound as you get closer to your misplaced earbud or buds.
Incredible Sound Capability
They offer immersive sound and boosted bass, touch controls, and 25 hours of playtime as well as 90 percent noise reduction. Each earbud has a built-in 14.2mm ultra large dynamic driver. These drivers are tilted by 65°. This creates the perfect angle with the ear canal to deliver the best sound transmission. The driver diameter is larger than Apple AirPods, creating incredible stereo sound.
Another innovative feature is that these are the world’s first dual-mode Bluetooth 5.0 + BLE chipset earbuds. Either earbud is paired with its audio streaming device individually and independently. That way, there is no interference in the transition from mono and stereo mode. There is not even the slightest lag when this occurs.
Pros and Cons
The earbuds are affordably priced, offering more features than other earbuds at a similar price point and costing less than other trackable earphones. The earbuds have nice touch controls that work well.
I like the excellent sound quality they deliver, including treble and bass as well as a balanced midrange. Their translucent design is also pretty cool. It offers clear calling capability that makes them even better.
There are no cons in my mind when it comes to these amazing earbuds.
